Advanced Training Modules (ATMs)
Each project within the CRC/TRR 227 offer a 1-2 day training module to the iRTG members. Each student select and attend in total three advanced training modules.
These modules strengthen the interdisciplinary knowledge on experimental and theoretical techniques and foster exchange between groups. Each workshop covers an introduction to basics of the related experimental or theoretical techniques and recent applications, as the first part. In the second part, the participants can directly apply and strengthen their gained knowledge in a research-related hands-on lab work. The topics are based on the expertise of the PIs of the CRC/TRR 227. The number of participants for each ATM is limited to about 6-10 students to ensure an intense supervision and an optimal time usage of the experiments during the lab course.
